Sustainability of apple fruits cv. Berkutovskoye to physiological diseases under different storage technologies

The research was carried out at the Federal Research Center named after I.V. Michurin (Tambov region, Russia), using a promising apple cultivar Berkutovskoye with high susceptibility to superficial scald. aim of study influence storage technologies different oxygen content in atmosphere on losses from scald and other diseases fruit cv. Berkutovskoye. Control 1-MCP-treated fruits were stored under regular (RA) controlled its modifications (ULO-1: O2 - 1.2-1.5%, CO2 ULO-2: 0.8%, 0.8-1%, DCA 0.7% decrease 0.4%, 0.7-0.8%). Protection not provided control RA, ULO-1, ULO-2 conditions, appearance disease occured earlier ULO-1 conditions higher degree development. 1-MCP treatment inhibits synthesis ethylene, α-farnesene, CT281. technology + RA provides protection for 3-4 months, quality greasiness (up 10%); protects no more than months; – 4.5 months. Reducing time setup optimization parameters (with an less 0.8%) can provide level maintenance Berkutovskoye, without risks anaerobic disorders.
